Dan Jenkins oversees AdTheorent’s Data Science team in applying machine learning to optimize advertising spend for the company’s brand and agency clients. Before joining AdTheorent in 2014, Jenkins worked at Callida Energy, where he performed data analysis and developed and tested machine learning models. Prior to that role, he was an instructor at New York University, where he taught undergraduate math courses including theory of probability, calculus, and honors calculus. Jenkins holds a Ph.D. in mathematics, specializing in probability theory, from New York University’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. He received his B.S. in mathematics from the State University of New York–Stony Brook Honors College.
